A Bit About Nikki Baker...
As a young woman, full of ambition, I joined the
National Association of Negro Business and
Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. in 1991 as a
youth member of the South Florida Club.

Due to my passion and dedication to the organization, I was elected Youth Club President in 1992. Since then, I have continued to make significant contributions. In 2010, after becoming an adult member, my club awarded me the "Rookie of the Year" Award. I later served as Club Vice President and President, where I served with distinction for four years. During Marie E. Castillo's administration, I received the NANBPWC, Inc. Volunteer Award - for an Employed Person (2013) and served as the NANBPWC, Inc. National Editor from 2011 to 2014, where I was able to showcase my marketing and business skills. In 2015, I transferred Clubs and became the President of the Broward County Club. In 2023, I became a Life Member of the organization and was appointed Project Manager for the NANBPWC, Inc. 84th National (Hybrid) Convention, highlighting my organizational and project management skills. Currently, I am honored to serve as the Technology Chair of the Southeastern District, and I am confident in my candidacy for the position of Governor of our Supreme District.

"Every Rose has a Story, Her tale is Bold, while her sister's unfolds gracefully. If you read the pages of their stories, of giving and growth, at each you would gleam, and speak the words "Behold." ~ NB

For me, the phrase "Every Rose Has a Story" carries a profound meaning. Despite growing up with a single working mother, my family received support from NANBPWC through scholarships and encouragement, which motivated me to push forward. Our organization's focus on promoting the interests of business and professional women has always challenged me to speak up about what matters and help other women with hopes of making a difference. It's incredible how a little help can have such a significant impact on our lives. I believe we can provide that kind of support to all our members.
We will tell a story of:
1. Reputable Business and Professionals Leadership
2. Sisterhood
3. Growth
Thank You for allowing me to share my story. I value and invite your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts, which will be carefully considered. If you have any immediate queries or concerns, please get in touch with me at nbaker@nanbpwc.org. Your involvement and perspective are priceless as we navigate this critical phase of our organization's journey.
